Controls

Overworld: use Arrow keys to move, press X when adjacent to an island to start combat

Combat: 

You (the blue player) start your turn by rolling 3 6-sided dice.

Click each dice to spend it for an action: 

  • Move - you will move in the selected direction the die's number of spaces
  • Attack - you will attack an adjacent enemy for the die's number in damage
  • Defend - The next attack to hit you will be reduced by this die's number
    • You can only spend 1 die for Defend per turn

The enemy then takes their turn in a similar fashion


This is a prototype to show off the turn-based combat.  Still some bugs to work out!

Future items to add:

  • Goons - smaller enemies that appear in combat to provide greater challenge
  • Better art and animations - there's meant to be some!
  • Story - This game was conceived to present a story between battles
